Personal Usage Rights
For hospitality and residential assets where personal use is offered as a secondary benefit.
Do all Blockx Fractional properties come with personal usage rights?
No. Usage rights are optional and only apply to selected hospitality or residential investments where it makes commercial sense — they are not a standard feature of every offering, and are never offered on assets such as commercial office buildings or warehouses.
How much personal use can I get if usage rights apply?
Where offered, usage rights may take the form of one week per year, two weeks per year, a fixed period, or a flexible booking system, depending on the specific asset and how usage rights are structured for that offering.
If I use my usage rights, do I lose the rental income for that period?
Personal usage generally displaces the rental income the property would otherwise have generated during that period, since the unit cannot be both occupied by you and rented to a paying guest simultaneously. The specific financial treatment — whether usage periods are 'charged' against your income share or handled another way — should be defined in the FHA for that asset.
Can I book my usage weeks through the same platform used for guest bookings?
Guest bookings for Blockx assets are intended to run through the Gambooking.com platform, which handles online bookings, payment processing, channel management and revenue optimisation. Whether owner/investor usage bookings run through the same system depends on the operational setup for that specific property.
